Mar 10, 2009 - I heard this on the radio one time many many many years ago & then never again. I want to say it very early 80's when I did. Cool parody! Ginger was sensuous but Mary Ann was reachable. Good Lord how HOT was Mary Ann!! She & Ginger both looked good dancing.

Apr 20, 2009 - That rock band - is that "The Mosquitoes"? I've had dreams of "Gilligan's Island" over the years. I've been at the port-harbour which "The Minnow" departed from; overhearing Ginger say to Mr. Howell Mary-ann,and the Professor that "we're going to milk this for all that this is worth" [the full financial value] ,whilst an operator of a boat similar to the Minnow can be seen by me trying to negotiate the breaking waves in torrid waters, meters from me and the Gilligan cast. Lovely, sweet dreams!

Dec 11, 2009 - Bob Denver actually wrote Stairway to heaven. (true story) He was high with Jimmy Page and Dawn Wells in Seattle. Dawn showed Jimmy the chord progression and Bob sang it kind of out of key Jimmy said in an interview in 1979.
