As for the economy...thank the housing sector to Carter and Clinton and thank the Banking sector to the Woodrow Wilson/FDR for giving us the wonderful Federal Reserve and removing the Gold Standard from our monetary system...since then, the purchasing power (value) of the Dollar has gone down by over 90%...also, look into fractional reserve banking and see what you come up with before you "BLAME BUSH".(cont.)

Oct 21, 2009 - Bush inherited a ticking timebomb that was caused by the Federal Reserve and has been kept afloat by the Federal Reserve in the tune changing interest rates on a whim, instead of letting the Market dictate the rates...by being a lender of last resort and bailing out banks that SHOULD have filed bankruptcy..and by having the freedom from internal audits so NOONE in America knows there dealings with foreign banks or what kind of reserves they actually hold. When Bush took over we had a balanced budget left by Clinton, the stock markets were at 11000. Obama took over we had a negative unbalanced national budget and the market was in the 6000's. Obama came in on the bank bailout, that was Bush's spending. Obama had to spend money the way he has done because if nothing was done we would have sunk deep into a depression,

Oct 21, 2009 - which because of his actions was avoided. Now the economy is recovering but slowly and the markets are at 10000 now from 6500 in a few months. Also not to mention wars and foreign policy issues in which Obama has to make right again and put us back into a respectful position in the standings of the international community in which he's is doing. We can argue and discuss policy issues for ever like social programs, government expansions and so on but thats just what liberals and conservatives do.
