One good thing is, here in LA, I got to see silverchair 3 times in small venues (Young Modern tour) 5 feet away from Daniel. His voice is up there with Mike Patton, Bryan Ferry, Thom York, hell I'll say it, even Lennon.

They had a 5 year break to pursue side projects and Daniel Johns worked with Paul Mac, they made a band called the Dissociatives. Silverchair reformed a few years back and made Young Modern and are currently working on a new album as we speak.
