Apr 7, 2008 - I didn't think they had changed the ships that often. I saw an Ep of JAG going back 10yrs at least. The admiral was in Gaeta and the ship they referenced in the screenshot was the Belknap even though it had been de-commishined at that point.

Jul 7, 2008 - i lived here in 1982-1984 uss puget sound 6th fleet flagship i loved this place its been 24 yrs i cant believe its been so long my 2 yrs there was some of the best times of my life i was there when we were going back and forth to beirut in 83 i was a cook on board the puget sound god did we use to party their was a bar every2 building i was 18 when i got stationed there march 1982 till march 1984 well thats all hope everyone in gaeta is doing well

Aug 11, 2010 - 1980-1983 were the best years of my life. With the Ship underway every 2 weeks and always returning to Gaeta, our home. The people, the food it was all so memorable! Underway every 2 weeks and always returning to Gaeta. The People, the food it was all so memorable!
